Command-line support in Save-N-Sync allows for the creation of shortcuts to the application that can be used to launch it at startup.
NOTE: This functionality is currently only available on Windows platforms.
Startup Options
To use, open the project that you would like to launch at startup, then select the Startup/Shutdown Options item from the File menu. When the above dialog appears, select the Launch Current Project at Login option. The following additional options can be also be selected to customize Save-N-Sync's behavior:
Run automatically
This option configures Save-N-Sync to automatically run the selected project upon user login. If NOT selected, Save-N-Sync will simply open up the selected project and wait for user intervention. The Run automatically option has two modes, Run a scan and Run by schedule. Run a scan is equivalent to hitting Run Now from the Save-N-Sync toolbar while Run by schedule is equivalent to hitting Run Schedule from the toolbar. If no schedule is set for the selected project, Save-N-Sync will always perform a simple scan.
Run minimized
This option configures Save-N-Sync to run minimized in the system tray when started at user login.
NOTE: This option requires the Run automatically option.
Quit when finished
This option configures Save-N-Sync to quit upon completion of the project.
NOTE: This option requires the Run automatically and Run a scan options.
NOTE: If another project is already set to run at startup, any changes made to the options on this page will prevent the previous project from starting at user login.
NOTE: No startup options will be enabled unless the Set button is pressed.
